Personally I think empire pvp is often more challenging and complicated than 0.0 pvp .. have to watch out for concord and stay alert to suiciders and ninjawrecklooters..
Empire combat can be quite interesting, logistics tend to be faster/easier, so replacing a ship doesn't require a 60 jump roundtrip to jita..
Locator agents tend to get used more too, it makes fights more personal when you're hunting down an individual wherever he may be instead of simply raiding a hostile area of space in 0.0 for random targets.
Those of us who actually honor (and often prefer to pay) ransoms don't like it when scum like 505 tarnish people's expectations and increase the number of people who consider paying a ransom to be something only a fool will do.
Very poor business practice and anyone with an ounce of class will look down on you for it, especially pirates worthy of the name.
I think I'll stick around up here in empire for a bit when nothing too important is going on in Catch..
You get what you wanted, now let's see how long it takes you to choke on it.

Kai Lai; if i wanted to brag about winning a duel with an empire pirate I could do so myself 
iron maiden, your setup was horrible apart from the high slots, trust me it was not even remotely close, and I'm surprised you claim it was since you couldn't see my setup or how many cap booster 800 I had left afterwards..
(wtf at energized membranes and a sensor booster for a BS duel btw)
Anyways, I think those of us who were there to fight (on both sides) had fun, I'm disappointed it's over so soon, I only just moved to empire.
I imagine buesrew aren't too happy, nor the idiots who went around in unescorted haulers/freighters, but they have nobody to blame but themselves and as Uagen keeps ranting on, we have little sympathy for them.
505's reputation is obviously in the toilet for not honoring ransoms, and I really do hope somebody with nothing better to do griefs them all out of EVE so those of us who actually do honor ransoms can do so without scum ruining our business for us.
